She has decided she likes to crawl under the Exersaucer and sit in the dish - she puts her head where the seat is.
She is watching her favorite TV show - the Backyardigans (the British version)
This is something she likes to do that we are also not fond of - chewing on the leather chair. We really don't like it now that she has some sharp teeth coming in!
Meredith is 11 months old now and doing really well. She stands alone without holding on to anything for balance pretty well for several seconds, before eventually falling over, but she is improving all the time. She walks all around the room holding onto furniture, and even around her crib holding onto the rails. She is a very vocal girl - she says Mama and Dada, although we are not sure if she knows what she is saying or not. She also says something very close to "dog", and that we are pretty sure she does know. She also says "no" and/or "nein" (German for "no" - she hears it often from children around here) - we think it sounds more like "nein" but at any rate, she definitely knows what she is saying. She also babbles constantly - we don't know what she is saying but she is definitely a talker and trying to tell us something! She drinks very well from a sippy cup and eats solid food pretty well - we have to go slow because she still gags very easily. She is very small for her age - still wearing nine months clothes, between the 10th and 25th percentile for weight and about the 5th for height for girls her age. But overall she seems to be a happy and healthy girl.

We got a box in the mail and that was a whole lot of fun for her!

She was so sweet sleeping with her teddy bear that I had to risk waking her up to get a picture - but luckily I didn't wake her!
Now that I rearranged our living room and brought this toybox down, she loves to dig in it and pull everything out!

What a mess...she found probably her most favorite new thing - playing in Sunny's water bowl. This day, I didn't realize that was what she was doing and by the time I got to her, she was soaking wet (as was the floor) and most of the water was splashed out...but she was having a good time!
Todd and I celebrated our third anniversary March 27th, and that can only mean that our three-year anniversary in Germany is coming up soon! I can't believe it. We are both doing fine.
